Lately I have been listening to a song by the band Great Big Sea called "Ordinary Day" it's a wonderful song and makes me feel really happy!! I have been feeling somewhat down lately and that is not like me. I am just really missing people and feel lonely at times. I have a negative view of my classes because I would rather be someowhere else. My state of mind is not positive...than I listen to this song again and it really changes my outlook on life and my circumstances right now. I want to post the lyrics because they are really meaningful to me right now.

La la la la la la life is wonderful!

I was going to post this in my other blog, but no one reads that anyways...not that anyone really reads this one either, but I think this fits here better:
So pretty much I don't even live in spokane anymore, I'm in rexburg...but I do occasionally go home, and I was home this past weekend, I hung out with friends it was fun. Pretty much when I was home for fall spokane was amazing because my friends are amazing....other than that spokane is just spokane, without great people to do stuff with, its just another place to dwell...I have found that happiness is a state of mind that is created by good people, doesn't matter where you are, if you are with good people than it will be the best place ever...likewise if you are at a really awesome place it can be ruined by the people you are with, and you will learn to not like that place. People are what make a life great, not places or things, but the people in your life make it what it is...which for me is wonderful!

Loser!

Yeah I flippin lost the table tennis tournament. It was fun though. I'm not as good as the professional kids who flippin have their paddles in zip up cases and junk. They are insane ping pong kids...I am just not that intense. Oh well win some lose some...or I guess lose them all...whatev it's still fun playing! I guess I am not meant to be ping pong champion of the world. Shucks!

Table Tennis anyone?

Wow Table Tennis is so flippin awesome!! I am playing in a tournament down here just for fun tomorrow and I am really excited!! It's so fun to play!! Anyways it is a pretty intense sport...I mean like way outta control intense...like these guys...

Some people are crazy!

Sometimes I know people that are real crazy. Like I had this friend onetime who had just gone back to school for like a week. She really missed her friends and junk who happend to live in spokane. So you know what she flippin did? She went home on friday and she had only been at school for less than a week. She got done with her classes and than just left, got in her car and drove home, which is like a 7hr drive or somethin...yeah man she was so insane! I think she must have been on drugs! She didn't really tell anyone... she just up and left by herself, I guess you could say she ran away...but anyways it was probably the best thing she had done in a while! And I heard she had so much fun, she stayed with her best friend and it was good times...Than on sunday she got in her car and drove back to school because she had class monday. She is pretty psycho, I don't really talk about her much cuz she is nuts! Anywho I thought what she did was interesting and should be documented in a blog...I'm just sayin...

Oh yeah I am going to California for the week between semesters, it's going to be very much a lot of fun and I am super uber duper excited!! Sometimes I just get so excited thinking about it...I am going with some of my buddies from Spokompton like B-rizzle, A-shizzle, J-sizzle,Kel-izzle...it's going to be of the Hizzook!! I hope I see some celebs like...you know famous people...that is one of my life goals actually... Anyways going to California makes me think of some songs....like these ones....not all the videos make sense but the song used is the song I was thinking of.... maybe I will add some more later but I doubt it....

I finally switched over to the new blogger run by google, I have been putting it off but they finally forced me to switch.

So good thing we onetime had presidents who had birthdays because this past monday not having school was great! All thanks to those deceased presidents, happy b-day abe and george! I went to Provo for the weekend, it was pretty fun and nice to get away from the coldness of Rexburg! I did get the coolest thing in Utah at the BYU bookstore, it is mini Uno, like the game, it's so rad, the cards are dang small, but they are exactly the same! Whoa, it is too much fun!

I jammed my finger in basketball last night, it flippin hurts!! My basketball team is undefeated in our hearts...we actually have lost every real game we play, but we did win because of forfeit one time. Anyways my team is good, we work hard and we have oodles of fun, every game is always way close and we end up losing by just a bit, but we have fun gosh dang it! We will win one of these days, just you wait!!

My classes are good and junk like that, I have fun down here and I'm glad I have so many friends down here, they keep it real in my life. Let's face it...without them I would be so trashy and boring and I would pretty much not be who I am at all, or even close...so thanks friends, you are the greatest and I love all y'all!!

Eisley=Love

Did I ever mention that I love the band Eisley? Because I really do, they are the the greatest ever.

Anywho they have a new album coming out sometime this year and I am very much looking forward to it!! Here is a music video of theirs for the song Memories from their album "Room Noises", it is a very good song...the video is kinda weird,but definitely Eisley style..I just love Eisley so much and one of these days I WILL see them live in concert! A long long time ago....

I just got out of my health class and am sitting in the computer lab here at byui in the clarke building, and I decided to check out my friend Joettes blog. As I looked through her very wonderful blog I than went to my own blog and realized that it is very much lacking and I have failed to keep it up to date. I remember back in the day when I first created this blog and how cool I thought it was, but than as time went by I kinda left my blog in the dust. This blog was going to be something that I could share with friends and keep them up to date on my life...but yet, I have failed in doing that.
But yet alas, I am back at school and since we all know how much I like to procrastinate while working on homework at the library here, you might find that I actually will post blogs here more often, and keep you all updated on my life and other things I find muy interesante!!
Sorry I have not been more valiant in my effort to keep this blog current....

Life

Here is the DL on me at the momento

School started I am taking 2 classes this first block, Span 101 and Bio 265, so far they seem like they will be a lot of work...but whatever.

I can't go to Alabama anymore...I am too broke.

Cort is coming in like a week, I am so excited...She is pretty much my best friend and always will be.

I hate when people say they will call you right back but then never do...its like alright why don't you just say I will call you some other time but not right back...if you say you'll call right back then call right back.

I need to stop putting so much trust in people I think...I feel that I trust people and love people way more then they trust and love me...I find that I get disappointed and am hurt more when they make mistakes in their life than they are...I should just accept the fact that I can't make choices for people and they are going to screw up no matter how much you think you know them or how much you trust them...turns out people you think you know pretty well...you don't know so well. What does it matter anyways...why do I have so much faith in people? If they don't even care then why should I? But for some reason I do care...I should just stop because I get hurt easily this way. I guess that is one of my shortcomings...

Why am I such a weirdo? I have never had a boyfriend in my entire life...Sometimes I think that I will never have a family of my own..

I really like the way the dash lights in a car look when its dark and they are all illuminated...something just makes me feel good about seeing them.

I'm thinking about some alternative career choices...
move to LA and become famous somehow...Just forget everyone and leave go off and travel without worrying about others(even though I am broke)...become an astronaut...Become a roadie for a band like Eisley or some other cool band...Find out where there is a candy factory that needs a taste tester... Become a film critic...Learn to play an instrument and write music and become a rock superstar...or be a health/spanish teacher and be in a school the rest of my life... What do you all think?

Oh boy!!

Ok I haven't posted recently on here so I thought what the heck...here is what I want to say:

1. Gonzaga lost to UCLA in the sweet sixteen, so all my hopes and dreams are thrown in the trash for that...very disappointing.

2. I got a cell phone, I gave into the pressure of the world and joined the flock of cell phone users, I know how annoying it is to be the person who doesn' t have the cell phone and is listening to the person that is on the cell phone, therefore, I will always be considerate of those non-cell phone users, because I have been there before.

3. I went to Utah last week for spring break(more like spring weekend, but at least we got one). I saw my friend Cortnie who has a blog on here with her husband. Anyways it was really great, I went to General Conference for LDS folk! Which I am a Latter-day Saint, it was really great hearing the words of the prophet and all the general authorities, I will definetly have to make it back again sometime.

4. Finals is coming up and all my projects and tests are building up. I will most likely be pretty busy these next couple weeks, and if I do crappy on these last things then my grade is going to be screwed. I just hope I can do well for these final projects and that I can pull through with a good grade and remember all I have learned throughout this semester.

5. I registered for Summer classes the other day...its going to be a killer summer. I have an 8am spanish class EVERY day this summer, I am taking span 101 for 1st block and span 102 for 2nd block, so I guess I can't do any late night partying in the summer like I used to...Dang it!

6. I will be going back to Utah at the end of this month to see my family, my mom, dad, bros, sis in law, niece, nephew, aunt, uncle, cousins from Virginia...so I am pretty excited, then I will have one week in spokane before returning to school for summer..oh the joy!

7. Thanks to Cortnie I now have a new Eisley CD to keep me entertained for months! Its not like a new CD but it has songs from the internet that aren't on their other CDs, its really great! thanks for that Cort!!

8. I have been listening to the Doors song "People are strange" a lot lately on myspace and also some songs from the early 90s band Toad the Wet Sprocket, "Walk on the Ocean" and "All I want" They are pretty good songs and they get stuck in my head pretty easily...then again...I have many songs stuck in my head all the time!

9. This is a ways off but I just wanted to end on a happy note(not that this whole thing hasn't been happy, because it has) Anyways in September sometime I will be making my way to the South to visit Cort and her hubby Scott, I'm really super excited even though its farther away, but its coming up soon, and I just wanted everyone to share in my excitement!!

10. Oh yeah and my sister Audriana comes home from her mission to Ecuador in like 5 months...sometime in August!! I am way excited, it doesn't seem like 1 1/2 yrs has gone by, but I guess it has!! Sweetness!! I miss her and am excited to see her again!! Maybe when she comes back I will be able to speak Espanol with her!!

11. Also I am living at the Ridge this summer which is a super nice apartment complex, I am way excited...2 things to clear up though, I don't want you to get the wrong impression about me.... First...I am not a snob, and I will not turn into a snob by living at the Ridge, and Second...I am no where near rich, and I am probably going to be very frugal this summer while I save to go to Alabama in the Fall, so just because I'm living in a nice place doesn't mean I am a snob or rich...get it right folks!!!

Sweet Sixteen baby!!!

Heck yeah!!! The Gonzaga Bulldogs are in the flippin Sweet Sixteen!!! YEAH!!!! I am so excited for them!! They better keep winning because if they lose then I will be disappointed and crushed... They gave me a little scare in the first round, and I was yelling at the TV at times, but I'm glad they made it through and that they beat Indiana tonight....This next game March 23rd is going to be a tough one..UCLA, but I believe they can do it...I believe they can make it to the Elite Eight and then on to the Final Four! I have hope in them! Everyone please pray for Gonzaga this week as they are preparing for round three, I know that they can beat UCLA, our prayers will only help them all the more!! So...as Gonzaga is about to face UCLA, I tell them this...play like you have been all season...you weren't the WCC Champions for nothing, you haven't had a 19 game winning streak just because...NO...You are Basketball Champions...Basketball Heroes....so go out there and play like you know you can!!Go get em, and bring home the glory!!

HOLY CRAP!!!! THE SEATTLE SEAHAWKS ARE IN THE FLIPPIN SUPERBOWL!!!!!!AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

I can't believe they made it...considering that they have SUCKED all my life...what the heck?? It surely must be the end of the world as we know it...Seahawks have always sucked every season, now all of the sudden...they are in the superbowl... I think that they will go to the superbowl and right before they're about to play Ashton Kutcher will jump out of the stands and the entire crowd will yell..."You've been punk'd!!!"
Seriously though, that is cool that they made it this far, I never thought I'd see the day when they would go to the superbowl, I wish them the best of luck...I might actually have to watch them play, that and see all the rad commercials.
Maybe this is a prediction of what will come for the Northwest this year...perhaps the Gonzaga Bulldogs will actually win some games in March Madness this year...that is what I am really looking forward to! GO ZAGS!!!
