Mas!

I realized that I don't write blogs as much as I used to and that I should start writing more often to keep eveyone posted on my life, I guess I just figure that my days aren't that exciting and my blogs may be kinda boring for everyone to read about. But I will try to do better and write more.
Heres a lil update for everyone, I am down in Rexburg still. I did get a job at wal-mart, I am a sales associate in the ladies apparel dept. Exciting isn't really the proper word I'd use to describe my job. But it is a job and there could be worse! However I'm prob putting in my two weeks notice today because I want to go home for Christmas and I don't want to work at wal-mart when school starts. I've never had a job while going to school fulltime, I don't think I could handle both. School for me is a full time job, it takes a lot of time and dedication and is the most important job for me at this time. I don't want a job at wal-mart to put my studies second and make me fail my classes. Besides I don't need to have a job while going to school anyways.
Other than working I mainly just chill at my apt with my roomies and friends. I highly enjoy my roomies they are wonderful people and I am blessed to be living with them.
It has been a while since I last posted anything besides Eisley....let's see what else has happened....hmmm...My bro Dan is now in NY on his mish. It took him a lil longer to leave the MTC because he had a freak volleyball accident and broke his baby toe, so he had to stay in the MTC a few extra weeks. He is now serving the Lord in NY and loving it!! He is a testimony to me that the Lord hears and answers our prayers!
Ummm...let's see...well we all know how Klutzy and accident prone I am. A few weeks ago I was hurrying out the door running down the steps of my apt(i live on the third floor) putting a hoodie on at the same time, trying to make it to a car that was attempting to drive off without me, as I ran to get into the car door somehow I nailed my head on the corner of the open door! Well I dropped down on the pavement holding my head, thinking for a second that I might have split my head open(it hurt really bad!) but luckily I just ended up with a big goose egg and no gash in my forehead! After the initial shock from everyone that witnessed the event, and once they realized my head was not cracked open there was much laughter and joking. I did end up with a pretty good lump but no big bruise, that night after realizing we didn't have an ice pack I used whatever I could find to reduce the swelling, whether it be an otter pop, a bag of frozen veggies, or a can of juice, I made it work!

Also one night during "the office" my roomie Carolyn(Coach as we like to call her)decided she wanted to have a competition with me to see who could sit upside down the longest,I'm a competitive person so I naturally said "Bring it on!" anywho turns out you shouldn't sit upside down for very long, it makes your head feel like it's going to explode especially since just the week before I had an encounter with a car door...anyways I was not going to give up even if I was about to pass out, and she wouldn't give up, after about 45 min she agreed to call it a draw.

Well I think this is long enough for one day, hopefully you all feel a lil more caught up on my life and well being. I will try to post more often! Hope you are all doing well and had nice thanksgivings! I am thankful for your friendship and thankful you actually read my blog!!! Take care!

Long time...

Member the time I went to an Eisley concert and never posted back about it?? Yeah I don't remember either :)
Anywho the concert was amazing! I was front row right in front of sherri the lead guitarist/singer. It was absolutley marvelous! I had such a wonderful time. They played my fav songs and I sung along to them all! After their set I was able to get the set list from Garron the bass player, the set list is the list of songs on a sheet that the band plays for their set, anyways that was aweosome! One because the set list is really cool looking on this eisley paper and two Garron responded when I talked to him and his hand touched mine :)
So after the set the band was signing and taking pics at their merch booth at the back of the venue so I was able to go back and get my pic with the band(minus Weston cuz he was outside puttin equipment away)I also got my CD signed and the set list!
Overall the experience was amazing and something that I will always remember! I only hope they will play more shows close by because I def want to see them again! It was the greatest concert I have ever been too(I've only been to a few..but still) Eisley is definitely my fav band, not only because they play radical music, but because they are all really good people. Yeah they have a band and are extremely talented but they are so humble and down to earth, they are just normal people who happen to have a band, but the whole band is their family, it's 3 sisters their bro and cousin and their dad Boyd is their manager! How cool is that! They get to travel around doing what they love with the people they love the most!! Oh...I do love Eisley!!
After the concert me and my bro stayed with our cousin Kim and her family, we really appreciated it a ton! It was nice to see them all even if it was just for a bit!
So there you have it! That is a lil brief recap! I had such a good time! If you never listen to Eisley in your life or know who they are than you are missing out...but I hope that you can have an experience like I did with a band or something you really enjoy sometime in your life because it is truly fabulous!!!
